Meet the Sheriff
Sheriff Scott Andrews
Sheriff Scott Andrews is a Franklin County native with more than 35 years of law-enforcement experience. He is a third-generation law-enforcement officer and third-generation sheriff, following his father and grandfather in service.
His career includes service with the Georgia Department of Corrections, Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, and Franklin County Schools. His background also includes Georgia State Patrol SWAT, command responsibilities, dignitary protection, and executive law-enforcement training.
As Sheriff, Andrews is focused on professional service, strong community relationships, public safety, and treating the citizens of Franklin County with respect.
